Our curriculum helps foster youth find their purpose, strengthen their voice, and learn the skills that protect their future. With evidence-based tools in communication, emotional regulation, conflict resolution, and job readiness, we guide youth toward healthier choices and a clearer sense of who they can become.
True‐North Initiative’s leadership team collectively brings over 40 years of
combined experience in behavioral health, prevention education, recovery services,
youth mentorship, and community development. Together, they provide the
professional expertise, trauma‐informed perspective, and lived experience
necessary to carry out the organization’s mission—to empower youth at risk to lead
healthy, purpose‐driven, drug‐free lives.
Our Annual Intensive takes place at a peaceful retreat facility in the San Bernardino Mountains. This setting provides a safe, structured environment where youth can focus, learn, and build meaningful connections away from daily stressors. The natural surroundings support reflection, community-building, and the transformative work at the heart of True-North Initiative’s mission.
